The Adecco Group were embarking on a series of major office moves and fit out projects across their property portfolio, including the relocation and new design of their Head Office in London. work.place.create. were appointed to assist the client in the space planning, design and delivery of a progressive, modern and agile working environment. A 16,000 q ft reduction in floor space also required the client to embrace increased desk sharing opportunities and flexible working across a number of different informal work settings. work.place.create. set about creating shared neighbourhoods with local T point facilities and collaborative working areas that would also act as a design focal point with a relaxed feel to contrast against the more formal working areas.
The base build design allowed for a dramatic double height reception space with green walls and a large tree that was a popular feature in the previous office. A consolidated meeting suite with integrated AV technology and room booking systems allows for a more stream lined visitor experience. A large communal breakout space allows for town hall gatherings and informal team meeting during the day, plus extra working space for any visiting staff from other offices.
