work.place.create. assisted a confidential cyber security client with their office relocation and design in Reading. Our front-end appointment was focussed on understanding the issues associated with moving an established, unloved and dated office into a new bespoke, agile working environment. Having occupied their existing space for over fifteen years, the culture was not ideal and established ways of working were both ineffective and inflexible.
work.place.create. worked in partnership with the client to understand and then implement simple changes to the day-to-day operations of the site. These would improve the working life of employees, attract and retain best in class staff and provide a modern environment for their clients to work from, exceeding what was provided by the competition. Our role was to run change management sessions to help staff from all levels of the business understand the nature of forthcoming changes and what it meant for them. The benefit of this time investment was a successful landing on day one in the office, with content staff working collaboratively with one another in an environment that they could be proud of.
